Can you believe this year will already be the 10th year of Clarity?

There is a lot that has happened in the Design Systems community over the last decade. Our scope, tools, and methods have expanded, and now we are at a pivotal turning point with emerging and quickly-evolving technology.

We have come a long way and we’ve achieved a lot. So for the 10th year of Clarity, I wanted us to have a moment together for reflection and sharing stories, renewal of motivation, inspiration, and energy; and personal and professional growth. This won’t be like previous Clarity conference. Camp Clarity is a retreat for the design systems community, by the community.

I’m still working on the site updates. I can’t wait until you see who we’ve got participating this year. But in the meantime…

• These super early bird tickets are for the full three-day Camp Clarity retreat experience with a hotel room included.
• At a later date, we will offer limited à la carte day passes depending on availability.
• If you plan on sharing a room, contact us so we can offer discounted bundled tickets and update the booking.
• We will also offer livestream passes for the Conference day of the event. This stream will automatically be included for in-person attendees.
• Finally, we will offer video passes after the event. These will also be included for both in-person and online attendees.

Retreat Information

• The retreat will span three days. We recommend arriving on Monday, December 1st and departing Friday, December 5th to get the full experience.
  
• Day 1 is a day of adventure and curiosity, as we go offsite on a multi-stop field trip in Palm Springs. More information will be shared soon.
• Day 2 is our 10th anniversary conference — a curated day of presentations from leading design systems experts and practitioners. There will also be a Tiki-themed party later that evening.
• Day 3 is focused on community and craft. We’ll break out into groups to spend half the day with meaningful discussions where everyone will have an opportunity to be heard. And we’ll spend the other half of the day going analog with a hands-on craft activity.
• And since this is a retreat, there is plenty of time carved out for relaxation by the pool or you can hit the town. Heck, you could even go check out Joshua Tree if that’s your vibe. Everything is opt-in, so this experience is what you make of it.
