Jen Cotton is Head of Design & Research for Modern Health, whose mission is to destigmatize mental health care, break down barriers to access, and give everyone the tools they need to build resilience, proactively engage in their mental health, and get the clinical support they need when they need it.
Jen is a former Staff Designer at Google Nest, where she lead a team of designers focused on building a platform for a helpful home that takes care of the people in it and the world around it. Previously Jen was a Lead UX Designer at Amazon, where she designed frameworks to scale Alexa across devices and co-founded the Alexa Design System team. She has worked at Twitter, New York Magazine, and Scripps Networks.
Jen earned a Masters of Fine Arts degree in Design & Technology from Parsons School for Design and a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations and Creative Writing. She is @jencotton on Medium and Twitter.
