Design systems allow us to scale design far beyond a team’s headcount. They also help us deliver consistent products, and they inspire cross-functional conversation and collaboration.
But in order to reap benefits like these, a design system needs to be more than just well-intentioned—it needs to be used.
While gaining traction with adoption isn’t always a straightforward or top-down decision, the path forward doesn’t need to be shrouded in mystery, either.
